Don't Eat Cheese Before Sleeping is my submission for Yandere Game Jam 2022.
It's also my very first VN where everything in it, music, art, code(mostly), etc, I made. Except the font. There's no way I could make a font.(Not yet at least.)
I went for more of a atmospheric scariness rather than visual scariness.
Warning: It does use Infrasound, which has been known to cause hallucinations and panic attacks. It can be disabled after you start the story.
Even though it does have infrasound, the game isn't really long enough to make use of it.

Just unzip the folder, open it up, and click on the application. It's not rocket science.

This was a quick demo to establish characters and begin the story. You left me on a cliffhanger there and I hope I can read the rest in the future. You have your own style of art is a sort of aesthetic handmade type way and that gave the game personality. The writing is a little choppy in some places, like with phone call, I didn't understand the progression of the conversation too well. I like the cheese narrator and the fourth wall breaks here and there. It seems like it's going to be a fun game when it comes out. Good luck with making it!
Well, I gotta say. Thanks for finding whatever the tar this game was, worthy of a video.
I will say that that reference at the end, I pretty much just put that in there for my brother.
That was pretty good! Can't wait to see how the gameplay evolves.
